Golf Tournament

We will soon announce the date and location for our 2016 Annual Golf Tournament.  Last year’s tournament was  held at the Kingswood Golf and Country Club in LaSalle, Manitoba on August 12, 2015.

Last year’s tournament raised just shy of $9700 for the museum. A huge shoutout needs to go to Prairie Helicopters as our long time supporter and now new sponsor!  Your dedication and generosity to Natural Resource Protection is very much appreciated.

Our tournament to date has raised $133,000 for the museum.  This is our 15th annual tournament.  We are challenging all of the Officer’s Associations across North American to sponsor a hole.  The hole sponsorship is only $200 and the first 18 sponsorships will have a sign, with their association’s logo, placed at a tee box.

Please come and join us again this year to help make this year’s tournament an even bigger success than last year.

Entry form for the tournament can be found at the following link:

Torch Run

It is my pleasure to announce that the 17th Annual NAWEOA 5K Torch Run/Walk will be held in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario as part of the NAWEOA Conference. This event will be held on Tuesday, July 18th 2017 and all proceeds will benefit the North American Game Warden Museum.

Once again, we are asking for your support.  Your generous donation will help ensure the future of the museum and help us continue to honor those that have fallen in the line of duty. Your contribution will help offset the costs associated with the operation of this event which has raised over $120,000 for the North American Game Warden Museum over the past 16 events.

As a financial supporter of the Torch Run/Walk, your association’s name will appear on the front of the event T-shirt worn by all participants. The name of every conservation officer that has fallen in the line of duty since 1980 is memorialized on the back of the event T-shirt.  At the conclusion of the event, a meal is provided and medals are presented to five classes of participants along with one overall award given to the participant with the fastest time.

If your association (or any individual) is interested in making a donation, please fill out the donation form and return it along with your donation by no later than May 15th, 2017.  With your support, I am confident we can continue to carry out the mission of the museum, “Educating, Honoring and Celebrating Natural Resource Protection.”  We hope to see you at the event!
